GREEN SOLUTIONS TO CALIFORNIA’S BUDGET CRISIS

While we succeeded in defeating the governor's propositions in May 2008, the battle is not over yet. We still need a budget that provides just and lasting solutions, not one balanced by cuts to education and services for the poor. Not an easy task of course, but doable, if informed by knowledge of the underlying causes of the quagmire we are in today.

Alameda Greens published an analysis of the California budget deficit two years ago. It still holds true today.
